Lakes At Stake
Good morning everyone,
The following attachment is from Lakes at Stake - one of our critical environmental partners in the fight to get our own Clark Lake and all Wisconsin lakes protected from the damage caused by wakeboating in waters that are too shallow and too small. This will be a big week in Madison!
There are competing bills in the State Assembly and Senate. We need to address each:
Please reach out to Joel Kitchens and ask him to NOT support AB#1033, as well as your local Assembly representatives if you do not vote in Door County. If you cannot call, please send an email. It is anticipated that this bill will be on the Assembly docket this week.
Please reach out to Andre Jacque and thank him for introducing bipartisan bill SB#1024 (remember we are FOR Senate Bill 1024) and show our support for this bill. Again, if you do not vote here, please contact your State Senator. It is anticipated that this bill will have a public hearing this coming Thursday Feb 19 in Madison.
